Questions

About estimates

Is the estimate really free?

Yes. There is no charge and no obligation, and nobody will phone you every week afterwards. Cayo looks at the job, measures, and gives you his estimate.

Will you tell me what paint you are using?

Yes, and why. Cayo will talk you through the paint he recommends for your job. One customer was steered to a higher-quality, less expensive paint than the brand they had picked, with the reasons explained.

Will the price change once work starts?

The price you agree is the price you pay for that work. If something unexpected turns up behind a surface — rot, failed plaster, water damage — it is discussed with you before any extra work is done.

How quickly can you come and look?

Ask when you get in touch — Cayo will give you a straight answer. Exteriors book further ahead because the season is short, so it is worth asking early if you want work done in the summer.

I do not know what I need. Can you help?

Yes. Send a photo of the room or the house and Cayo will tell you what it needs and what it does not. One customer was talked out of the paint brand they had chosen in favor of a better, cheaper one.
